Reflections He calls my name, soft but earnest, drawing my attention to his concerned face. "Are you okay?" He doesn't quite frown but he's lost the elated glow of the evening, and I know I have as well, it's my fault.

"Yes." I try to smile, but I can hardly focus my gaze on his face, a face I adore, more so when he smiles, more so when he smiles because of me. Blinking hardly helps, but I fix the curve of my mouth. "Just drifting." And my eyes do, back to the little boy who has captured my attention and thoughts.

"What's on your mind?" he asks me all the time, in every prolonged silence unless he's occupied with something. Usually I answer in brutal, Reflections by ~MidnyhtNoon

Watching: Castle Season 1

_{Well... I have a tiny photoblog now and you're all welcome to have a look: The Road Novel.

And some bad news... My beloved grandmother passed away this Monday. I'm still very heartbroken and don't know what to do or say or feel... I posted her picture to my blog, because it's one of the last photos of her. But now I feel that maybe posting that was a mistake, because every time I see that photo, it just comes back to me. The knowledge that she's really gone forever. No more pancakes, evening soap operas times, tiny wrinkled hands that held my hands. Everything is just gone.

I've never lost anyone so dear to me. Maybe that is why the last two days have been like a bad dream where everything is so unreal and your mind just wanders around. Can't sleep, can't think, can't be calm. I feel like a small child who's too stubborn to understand that in real life people die. They really die and they never come back and the ones who stay behind have to live without them.}

I'm a 24-year-old self-learned Photoshop-enthusiast. I discovered the magical world of photomanipulations seven years ago. I'm not even half as good as I want to be, so most of the time art and I have this strange love-hate relationship. But still - since then art has also been one of the few things that still gives me some peace of mind.

I got really sucked into the world of photography about two years ago when I first started thinking about buying a camera. Now I'm a proud owner of my own little Nikon and also a total amateur when it comes to taking pictures.

My photomanipulations are mostly about ordinary places and ordinary creatures with a dash of peculiarity. About my photos... I'm very fond of minimalism and abstract photos, black and white shots and spontaneous portraits (especially hands). I hope that one day I'll be able to shoot artistic nude too.

I also left my heart in England five years ago.

If you find it, please don't return it.

_{Wow, that site almost made me cry. I know that there are other people who are in debts and troubles, but actually seeing their faces... It's really a depressing and painful thing to watch, especially seeing old people who deserve to live their declining years in a nice home with sunshine and afternoon tea...

I read an article from a newspaper. I think it was about former parliament members in Estonia, who mostly were middle-aged men and women with doctor's degrees and so on. And they couldn't get any jobs, because they were either "too old" or too educated... What kind of a world is that?}
